Welcome to the new website of Dance Salsa Etc.! We’re a collective group that encourages self-expression through visual art, dance, music, and theater. “GREAT CLASSES to learn in!”

These aren’t your Momma’s dance classes!

Beginners, welcome! Learn salsa, merengue, bachata, lambada and dance floor etiquette from a Long Island chick named China. Just like my Real Estate career, I am a bit different than most… I can help you to appreciate music styles and rhythm along with teaching you the basics. This ‘technique’ gives one more room to grow individually becoming more comfortable with their own freestyle versus only robotic variations and sequences. There is a difference…

Ages 6 and up, Latin Street Lessons in: Salsa!

Think summertime block parties; New York, Miami, Puerto Rico, the Caymans, Chicago and more! Salsa originates from the country of Cuba! From there it filtered on through and through and viola! Years later here we are STILL in the salsa craze. Never out of style, salsa is hot, athletic, sexy, invigorating, gives you an excuse (if you need one) to dress up every Saturday and more! Let the soulful sounds of the clave, guido, piano and drums give you goose bumps once you learn to appreciate and experience the music from within. I can not teach you to feel the way of the music, I can only show you how you may get there…
